As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead our operations, marketing, and administrative functions using Agile practices, Scrum Management Framework, and Kanban Boards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive company growth.
- Develop and implement strategies for product diversification and market expansion.
- Collaborate with the design and product development teams to align offerings with market demand and customer preferences.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the business model to ensure sustainability and scalability.
Marketing and Sales:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales growth.
- Manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners, influencers, and customers to expand market reach.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth execution of business processes.
- Implement and manage practices to optimize workflow and efficiency using Business Agility practices such as the Scrum framework and Kanban.
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and inventory management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust processes as necessary to meet business goals.
Administrative Duties:
- Oversee administrative functions, including budget management, financial reporting, and HR tasks.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for remote operations.
- Manage and maintain digital tools and platforms used for project management, communication, and collaboration.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on business performance and strategic initiatives.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and motivate a remote team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Use Kanban boards to track progress, manage workloads, and ensure transparency in project execution.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members, encouraging continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, operations, or marketing, preferably in the fashion or retail industry. Experience with Agile practices, Scrum, and Kanban is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a good understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies that drive growth.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in using digital tools for project management, marketing, and collaboration (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Slack).
